At the initial consultation we will look at images and fabrics and talk through potential designs. Our design process involves interpreting the ideas we have discussed, understanding the bride as an individual and how she would like to express herself. I also consider the feel of the occasion, nature of the venue and the time of year.
DESIGN AND COSTING

I will use sketches and fabric swatches to communicate a design and costing for the dress. Once the outline design of the dress has been discussed and approved by the bride, and the costs agreed, the commissioned dress is scheduled into my production timetable, bearing in mind the date and time-frame for the wedding day.
YOUR DRESS
​
Only once we have a clear idea of the final garment will the dress be carefully cut and constructed, bringing together all the fabric components and details discussed, using couture techniques and immaculate hand finishing. The result will be a sublime wedding dress made to your individual measurements and body shape – luscious, stunning and totally unique.

Ideally bespoke dresses need six to nine months to complete. This time frame varies depending on the complexity of the dress and time of year, it is intended as a guide.
